Title: Girls Weekend by C. M. Nascosta (Girls Weekend Book 1)

Genre: Romance, Fantasy, Erotica

Rating: 4.25 Stars

Girls Weekend is a story following three coworkers and friends, Lurielle, Ris and Silva. They are heading away for a weekend and are going to an orc nudist retreat in order to get laid but they have kept Silva in the dark until now. Upon arriving Silva is a little overwhelmed but Lurielle and Ris throw themselves into it, however, Lurielle does have some self-esteem issues from her ex and mother.

The story bounces between the three women and their potential conquests. Ris is determined to get laid but isn’t having much luck in that department despite her good looks while Silva hits it off with a half orc, half elf named Tate and Lurielle is getting along with an arc named Khash. Silva and Tate are enjoying drinks and getting to know each other fully clothed before progressing further while Lurielle has been chilling in the Roman baths with Khash which is getting hot and heavy.

Silva ends up sleeping with Tate before heading back to the girls shared room while Lurielle ends up passing out after Khash gets her off in the Roman baths. Both Silva and Lurielle seem to be developing emotionally attachments to the men they are currently involved with but Ris is feeling left out. While Ris has had a few encounters they haven’t given her what she has been looking for and on their final night at the retreat she goes looking for it once more.

The threesome scene between Tate, Silva and a female orc was amazing and really shows off Silva and how pressured she feels and how trapped in her life she is. Meanwhile Lurielle is currently breaking free of her own inhibitions and body images issues with Khash even taking the plunge to fully strip off for a fireworks display although they are in a secluded location.

By the time the weekend comes to an end both Silva and Lurielle are said to be leaving, potentially ending the romances that have only just begun but they have to return to the real world. Over the next few weeks we follow them both as Silva ends up dating someone her family approves of but he doesn’t treat her the way Tate did and seeing Lurielle and Khash building a genuine relationship prompts her to ask for help. Lurielle gives her some advice that allows her to take control of her life and when Lurielle mentions she and Khash are going back to the resort she asks to tag along.

Back there she is finally reunited with Tate who despite his fearsome reputation treats Silva well and Lurielle is reassured that he will protect her no matter what. Seeing everything come together at the end was amazing and I hope book two deals with Khash being introduced to Lurielle’s family. Ris didn’t play much of a role here besides comic relief at times and I personally felt there was room for her to begin her own romance or at least focus in on someone but that might come in book two. Overall, Girls Weekend was another amazing piece of writing from C. M. Nascosta and I can’t wait to read more from her soon.
